Delete Guest Data

1. On the iPhone that still has your guest session, open OctaneMyCar.
2. Open Settings, then choose Delete Guest Data.
3. Read the warning and confirm Delete Guest Data.

The app removes the current guest Auth account, consent, private identity links, and private notes. Existing structured reports remain without your identity under “Former Contributor” and leave public view after up to 12 months; de-identified report facts are deleted after 24 months. This cannot be undone.

If your session is gone

A guest session lost after reinstall or sign-out cannot be recovered, so the app cannot identify it for in-app deletion. Do not create a new guest and assume it will delete the old one. See privacy request contact status; the project cannot promise to identify an unlinked session from an email alone. The beta inbox receives messages but cannot send replies yet. The 30-day response target awaits a branded reply route and tracking.
