Terms of Use

Last updated 28 September 2026. OctaneMyCar is an independent community information service, not a fuel seller or an Operator’s official locator. Use is limited to invited beta testers while the service is in beta.

Information, not a guarantee

Station records can be incomplete or outdated. Availability comes mainly from community observations, not verified inventory. “Community-reported” is not a guarantee; confirm availability and fuel grade with the Station before travelling or buying. Do not interact with the app while driving.

Contributions

Contributors must be at least 18, submit observations honestly, and follow the Community Contribution Terms. We may moderate, reject, archive, or correct content under our published process. Browsing needs no account; first contribution creates a resettable guest session after notice and consent.

Open data and ownership

The Station Registry derives from OpenStreetMap and is shared under ODbL with attribution; see Data Sources. Raw Availability Reports, app code, guest accounts, and moderation records are not part of that Registry export. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners; see non-affiliation.

Changes and contact

We may correct beta content and update these terms. Significant changes to contribution or privacy handling will be presented before further contribution. See Support for the current contact route.
